So far so good.
Today is a day of firsts.
It's my wife's (Ella) first day back at work after taking six months off for maternity leave.
It's my first day in charge as homemaker/parent.
first time posting anything on the web, never even read a blog before.
Fin has been quite gentle with me today. He had a nice long nap after his bottle late this morning and slept for almost two hours before waking up and having lunch. Lunch today consisted of mashed potatoes & peas mixed with breastmilk and pears for dessert.
Homemaking -wise caught up on some washing from our camping trip this weekend and dinner is prepped. The days gone by quick though. I'll try and get up tomorrow with Ella and get more done before Fin wakes up. I want to clean the fridge out. I can see I'm not going to get flying through all the chores in the first week though.
More tomorrow, I might venture out of the house with him, if I can work the nerve up. He's making cute noises whilst lying on his play mat so I'm going for a chat, play and a cuddle.
